What therapy offers

Life can be challenging and at the best of times, navigating your way through modern-day highs and lows can leave you feeling emotionally depleted.  There also may be times in life when you face situations that leave you feeling unable to cope.
Therapy can offer a safe space to talk through your experiences and the  resulting, emotions, thoughts and behaviours without feeling judged. It can help in getting to know yourself better  and clarify what matters to you. Therapy will help you develop your ability to problem solve and improve your coping skills when things cannot be changed
Therapy sessions allow you to gain a better understanding of yourself and your conditioning which can promote healing, helping you become unblocked and empower you to create a future different from your past, giving you greater freedom.

My story

I come from a corporate background, originally working in Banking and Finance. I wanted to find meaning in my own life so I decided to change career path and I spent four years retraining as a psychotherapist. I am passionate about helping people to move forward and supporting them in taking steps towards leading happy, fulfilling lives and reaching their full potential.

 

I am a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapists (BACP) and in my practice I adhere to their Ethical Framework. I also undergo regular supervision. I am fully insured and have an enhanced DBS check.

My approach

I am trained as an integrative counsellor meaning I use a range of therapeutic approaches tailored to meet your specific needs. I aim to:

  • help you make sense of things and understand yourself better

  • help you gain more self-acceptance and build self-compassion

  • help you resolve complicated feelings, or find ways to live with them

  • help you recognise unhelpful patterns in the way you think or act, and find ways to change them or cope with them​

I understand that making the decision to start therapy can be daunting and finding the right therapist may feel overwhelming. 

I am based in Godalming in Surrey and offer appointments either Face to Face, via telephone or zoom.

My current fee is £50 for a 50 minute session session. Some concessions available. All fees are payable on the day through bank transfer. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will be charged in full. 

  • Day and evening appointments are available Monday – Friday.

  • Morning appointments are available on Saturdays.
